​Greenhous Shrewsbury colleagues take on a relay challenge.​

Shropshire Shufflers have, for the past few years, run a relay race for teams of three runners, each of whom have to run a two-mile loop around the beautiful grounds of Attingham Park. On Thursday 16th May 2019 a trio of colleagues for Greenhous Shrewsbury on Old Potts Way took up the challenge. Pictured are from the left Andy Paddock, Collection & Delivery Driver ,Mike Morley, Service Advisor and Ian Long, Master Technician.

Andy clocked 19 mins and 42 seconds, Mike recorded a time of 16 minutes and 17 seconds and on the final leg Ian achieved the quickest lap in 15 minutes and 13 seconds for the 2 mile course.A cumulative team time of 51 minutes and 12 seconds.

The race started and finished in front of the Grade 1 listed main house which is owned by the National Trust. 150 teams took part, from local areas and all over the West Midlands.

Mike commented that he had run the relays three times now and had mentioned it to his colleagues.Ian had been running for a while and Andy liked to keep fit so they joined up to form the Greenhous team.They all report having enjoyed the experience.
